  5. Great list of books! Will be sure to add one or two of these to my already existing collection. You should visit reading games for a great website about fun ways to engage children with language.

  6. Whether it's right to mention my book here, I'm not sure, so apologies in advance if I've broken some code of practice. I just thought I'd mention my children's book, Suki & the Christmas Treasure Trove, which I've published on-line. It's available in paperback through a variety of on-line sources and, while you'd expect me to say it's good (it's good) I'd be really interested in what other people think. Those that have read it, enjoyed it and to find it all you have to do is key the title into Google. It's my first novel, although I've always harboured ambitions to write a book and now I've done it. It's based on the adventures of characters I developed for my daughter. I used to tell her bedtime stories and decided to develop them into a full-blown novel.
