Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Paperback Prize Pack Giveaway

NOTE: This contest is now closed.

I am so very very excited to be hosting a huge Harry Potter giveaway at The Well-Read Child! In celebration of the paperback release of the final Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Scholastic is giving away books 5, 6, and 7 to FIVE lucky winners.

That's right:

Five (5) Winners receive a paperback prize pack:

* Book 5 Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
* Book 6 Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
* Book 7 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!

From the publisher:

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is a breathtaking finish to a remarkable series. The final chapter to Harry Potter’s adventures will be released in paperback July 7th! It all comes down to this - a final face off between good and evil. You plan to pull out all the stops, but every time you solve one mystery, three more evolve."

Don't miss out on the chance to own the last three books in this absolutely amazing series!

How to enter:

1. Leave a comment below, telling me why you'd like to win this prize pack. Be sure to include an email address or link to your blog so I can contact you for shipping information if you are the winner.

To receive more entries:
1. Blog about this giveaway and link back to this post. Include your link in the comments.
2. Tweet about the giveaway. (Use @wellreadchild in your tweet so I can see that you tweeted!)

At noon EST July 10, 2009, I will do a random drawing and choose five winners who will receive the prize pack. This is open to residents of the Continental U.S. only.

Thanks to Scholastic for offering this wonderful prize pack. Good luck everyone!

Charlotte's Library and Abby (the) Librarian are also hosting the giveaway on their blogs, so increase your chances of winning by signing up there. (If your blog is also hosting the giveaway, leave me a comment, and I'll add you to the list!)

  11. I would love to win this Harry Potter Giveaway as I would gift them to my now 13 year old nephew.. We have been reading the books together over the years.. so much fun.
We go to the library and get the book and then find somewhere to start reading.. Usually it is when he is coming to my house for the evening or day. Sometimes we even let his little sister in on the fun.
    Thanks for the chance

  23. I would love to win these books for my children - especially my son, Duncan. I have nice hardback copies of the books, which Duncan has taken to carrying around, dropping and bumping into things. I've started accumulating a set for him so he'll stop beating up on mine, but we don't have the last books yet. This would be perfect! Thanks for the contest!

  24. My email address is likewhoa716@yahoo.com. I believe this series is meant for me. I remember picking up the first book in second grade. I read it in one day! Harry Potter posters cover every inch of my bedroom. I enjoy If I win, I can re-read them without having to wait for a copy at the library. Thank you for this opportunity.
