One of my goals this year is to build a bigger community and get ideas and recommendations from lots of people. One way I'm doing this is to start having a number of roundtable discussions with parents, teachers, librarians, bloggers, etc.
The first roundtable discussion is for parents. And by parents, I use the term loosely. You could be a parent, guardian, grandparent, or any other person who has a special relationship with a child.
My question is: Do you have a reading routine with your child? If so, please describe it. For example: When do you read? Do you read out loud? What types of books do you read?
Please leave your responses in the comments, and be sure to come back and respond to others' comments. I will round-up all of the comments into a post next Saturday and also post the next roundup discussion!
Looking forward to seeing your responses!
