Book News and Challenge/Giveaway Reminder

Via Mitali Perkins, the International Reading Association recently released its 2008 list of 25 Notable Books for a Global Society. There are a lot of wonderful books on this, and I already have lots of these books on my wish list for my daughter's library.


If you're a fan of Kerry Madden and her Maggie Valley Trilogy AND happen to live near Tennessee, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Georgia, you're in luck. She's kicking off her summer Maggie Valley Trilogy Book Tour in Nashville, TN tomorrow. Her sister-in-law Tomi Lunsford will be playing many of the songs Livy Two writes in the books.
