I especially hated how much it focused on Puck when Sabrina was supposed to be the protagonist, and how little Sabrina really did. I don't recommend the series to anyone.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8643075855683234513.post-91522635383415882212009-09-07T10:30:57.424-04:002009-09-07T10:30:57.424-04:00My in-laws raved about this series, so between the...My in-laws raved about this series, so between the two of you, I'll put it on hold.Janssenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13178196211079230972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8643075855683234513.post-6025511344995819822009-09-02T22:22:13.786-04:002009-09-02T22:22:13.786-04:00My husband, my older son, and I all listened to th...My husband, my older son, and I all listened to this on a vacation two summers ago. We loved it. I agree that sometimes the writing is a little clunky, but there are great moments of dialogue. The series gets even better as you go along, and the characters grow and change.Emily Kissnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08224456325843723671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8643075855683234513.post-37566439436765865422009-09-01T01:42:09.036-04:002009-09-01T01:42:09.036-04:00We read Theodosia and the Staff of Osiris this sum...We read Theodosia and the Staff of Osiris this summer, and my kids loved it, yet I found it one of the more tedious read alouds I've done. They found it extremely engaging and liked the characters while I thought it a bit jerky, with too many slightly unbelievable scenarios to get past.

I've given this series to my daughter, who was a little lukewarm with it, but she didn't elaborate much. "It was okay," she said. And yet it looks so sumptuous.Sheilahttp://greenridgechronicles.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8643075855683234513.post-77073389619468482292009-08-31T17:01:48.335-04:002009-08-31T17:01:48.335-04:00I love this series, and can't wait for my kids...I love this series, and can't wait for my kids to be older.
And for the adult version check out the Fables comic book. That's really fun to read, but definitely not for kids (some nudity, violence, and generally not made for kids).Ticiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17970101432834731044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8643075855683234513.post-71344847033159138842009-08-31T12:55:03.955-04:002009-08-31T12:55:03.955-04:00My daughters (ages 8 & 10) have loved this ser...My daughters (ages 8 & 10) have loved this series.
